The Tesco Stronger Starts funding programme awards 3 groups quarterly after each 3 month instore customer voting period.
Applications are open to all local good causes, with the current priority helping projects that support children’s food security and health aswell as local store nominated good causes.
Groups are awarded 1st – £1,500; 2nd – £1,000 and 3rd – £500 after the vote results are counted.
The next customer vote will be from Jan – March and then May – June etc. etc.
Awards are received about 6 weeks after the customer vote is closed and awardees then have a year to spend the funds.
This is also a great opportunity for groups to promote the good work that they do locally.
Note – the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme is a rolling programme and groups can apply at any time, however, the sooner applications are submitted, the sooner they may likely to be selected for funding.
Applications submitted by 20th November will be considered for the Jan – March customer vote with awards made in May ‘24.
Applications that are unsuccessful or submitted later will await consideration for the April – May customer vote with awards in Aug ’24 and so on….
